<span m='30880'>understanding</span> <span m='32439'>about</span> <span m='32870'>what</span> <span m='33150'>their</span> <span m='33280'>business</span> <span m='33690'>units</span> <span m='34060'>want</span> <span m='34470'>and</span> <span m='34670'>need</span> <span m='35220'>and</span> <span m='35940'>getting</span> <span m='36160'>feedback</span> <span m='36560'>from</span> <span m='44610'>from</span> <span m='44810'>a</span> <span m='45080'>business</span> <span m='45520'>and</span> <span m='45680'>numbers</span> <span m='46060'>stance,</span> <span m='46530'>but</span> <span m='46670'>I</span> <span m='46770'>also</span> <span m='47210'>enjoyed</span> <span m='47700'>working</span> <span m='48000'>a</span> <span m='48070'>lot</span> <span m='48350'>with</span> <span m='48490'>other</span> <span m='48660'>people.</span> <span m='49270'>And</span> <span m='49500'>so</span> <span m='49960'>HR</span> <span m='50240'>was</span> <span m='50390'>a</span> <span m='50430'>great</span> <span m='50660'>way</span> <span m='50820'>for</span> <span m='50970'>me</span> <span m='51380'>to</span> <span m='51680'>combine</span> <span m='52120'>the</span> <span m='52200'>passions</span> <span m='52550'>of</span> <span m='52820'>working</span> <span m='53100'>with</span> <span m='53260'>people</span> <span m='53980'>and</span> <span m='54170'>also</span> <span m='54440'>having</span> <span m='54720'>a</span> <span m='54780'>good</span> <span m='55370'>business</span> <span m='55760'>sense.</span> </p><p><span m='57280'>My</span> <span m='57420'>undergraduate</span> <span m='57980'>degree</span> <span m='58640'>is</span> <span m='59130'>in</span> <span m='59790'>Human</span> <span m='60000'>Resources,</span> <span m='60610'>specifically</span> <span m='61120'>around</span> <span m='61370'>management.</span> <span m='62250'>And</span> <span m='62480'>then</span> <span m='62940'>my</span> <span m='63060'>master's</span> <span m='63510'>degree</span> <span m='63930'>is</span> <span m='64150'>a</span> <span m='64239'>MBS.</span> </p><p><span m='65250'>The</span> <span m='65540'>advice</span> <span m='65840'>that</span> <span m='65990'>I</span> <span m='66110'>would</span> <span m='66270'>give</span> <span m='66520'>to</span> <span m='66910'>a</span> <span m='67180'>high</span> <span m='67380'>school</span> <span m='67810'>student</span> <span m='68310'>would</span> <span m='68450'>be</span> <span m='68820'>to</span> <span m='69110'>spend</span> <span m='69450'>time</span> <span m='69720'>now</span> <span m='70200'>exploring</span> <span m='70970'>different</span> <span m='71340'>career</span> <span m='71670'>options,</span> <span m='72140'>whether</span> <span m='72460'>it's</span> <span m='72650'>job</span> <span m='72960'>shadowing,</span> <span m='73580'>talking</span> <span m='74030'>to</span> <span m='74180'>other</span> <span m='74400'>people</span> m='78780'>as</span> <span m='78910'>to</span> <span m='79230'>whether</span> <span m='79470'>or</span> <span m='79510'>not</span> <span m='79840'>you're</span> <span m='79970'>going</span> <span m='80130'>to</span> <span m='80280'>like</span> <span m='80500'>that.</span> <span m='80850'>And</span> <span m='81010'>it</span> <span m='81120'>kind</span> <span m='81280'>of</span> <span m='81340'>gives</span> <span m='81490'>you</span> <span m='81570'>an</span> <span m='81650'>understanding</span> <span m='82100'>of</span> <span m='82250'>what</span> <span m='82430'>career</span> <span m='82770'>path</span> <span m='82980'>to</span> <span m='83430'>head</span> <span m='83760'>down.</span> <span m='84570'>So</span> <span m='84730'>I</span> <span m='84860'>would</span> <span m='84990'>just</span> <span m='85540'>spend</span> <span m='85730'>a</span> <span m='85800'>lot</span> <span m='86070'>of</span> <span m='86130'>time</span> <span m='86380'>doing</span> <span m='86530'>that</span> <span m='86730'>and</span> <span m='86820'>take</span> <span m='86990'>any</span> <span m='87190'>opportunity</span> <span m='87760'>that</span> <span m='88010'>you can</span>
