Micah, an interaction designer, spends his typical day solving creative problems for companies by uncovering how new technology should work and the ways in which people could use them. He got into design because he is passionate about understanding how new processes work and figuring out what new designs could improve people's lives. He tells us that to understand people and what they want, you have to ask the right questions and you have to not just listen to what people are saying, but what they are not as well.
Industrial designers develop the concepts for manufactured products, such as cars, home appliances, and toys. They combine art, business, and engineering to make products that people use every day.
An increasing number of designers are also getting a Master of Business Administration (MBA) to gain business skills.
